How very hard it is to tell the world about my Mama.
No matter how hard I try, I cannot even come close in describing her true devotion and the sacrifices my mama made for all of us, her children and her grandchildren.
Mama, Immi, Teta Fitna gave it all and then, she gave even more as her love and care were endless.
My mama had nothing more valuable than her children and grandchildren. Her life was centred around ours.
Mama had no time for herself, no other interests except to see us all as one healthy and happy family.
Mama longed to be with her children. Her weekly timetable was divided as she shared herself amongst us.
Mama’s fun times and happiness came from our own. Her smile was the biggest when she saw her grandchildren, even when she was so sick, her face totally changed when she saw any of her grandchildren.
My mama dominated our hearts and kept giving unconditionally, no matter what, no matter when.
Mama, we love you so much.
Mama, you are the queen of our hearts.
Your spirit will live on within us forever as we continue to live through your example to honour your memory.
Our Mama felt our warm love for her at the time of her passing. Her spirit remained strong despite her body ceasing to function. As her breathing became more shallow and her spirit was ready to be uplifted to meet her creator, we surrounded her bed, kissing her hands, caressing her face, holding on to her hair and massaging her feet. She felt our true love as she peacefully passed into the eternal love and care of God.
Mama was privileged to have received all the holy sacraments and the anointing of the sick.
Mama, Immi, Teta Fitna, Ya set el Habayeb, as you rest in peace with our Lord God, the void you leave behind is irreplaceable and the love you gave us will be missed immensely along with your beautiful and shining presence.
Mama, we pray for strength to cope with our loss, pain and heartache.
Our comfort is knowing that you are now with God, forever and ever, Amen.
Your son Robert, my brothers and sisters, our spouses and your Grandchildren.
